Arizona warm summer outdoor engagement session.
In summer, Phoenix area daily temperatures range from 82 to 110°F, outdoor sessions can be unbearable unless you play it smart. That was Jessica and Jason’s idea to go to Saguaro Lake for their engagement session, and what a smart move! The beach at Butcher Jones recreation site is in the shadow for 1h30 after sunset, the proximity to the water cooled down the temperature which allowed us for a great time exploring all the options of the spot. Important heads up, luckily Jessica spotted first a bee on the sand by the water, for us to then realize there were actually dozens! I am not sure if it is a common recurrence onsite during summer months but be careful and walk barefoot only in the water. This is one of my favorite outdoor spot for outdoor phoenix engagement photos. Jessica and Jason strong bond and complicity truly beam through their pictures.
Cactus, lake, gorgeous sky, reeds, and even greeted (at a distance) by a cute skunk’s family, this engagement session was gorgeous.
